Orchids require minimal long-term maintenance. Most orchid varieties prefer moist conditions with bright, indirect light. Water your orchid when the soil is almost completely dry, typically about once a week. Water should be applied to the moss, avoiding accumulation between leaves and preventing water from reaching the bottom of the pot. When the orchid stops flowering, repot it using fresh sphagnum moss. Apply appropriate fertilizer to encourage reblooming.

- Moderate Lighting: Place in a bright location without direct sunlight (partial shade environment). Insufficient light will darken leaves; excessive light will cause yellowing.

- Ideal Temperature & Humidity: Optimal temperature: 18-24°C - avoid sudden temperature changes. Maintain 50-70% humidity; mist to increase humidity when too dry (avoid contacting leaves).

- Proper Watering: Use the "finger test method": Insert finger 1-2cm into soil - water only when dry. Water thoroughly and ensure smooth drainage to prevent root rot from water accumulation.

- Timely Fertilization: Choose specialized orchid fertilizer. Apply every 2 weeks during growth and flowering periods, reducing frequency during dormancy.
